Lewes Preece | Supervising Social Worker

Hi, my name is Lewes Preece and I am one of the Supervising Social Workers at Foundation Fostering. I have 30 years’ experience in the world of social care, in various settings such as residential childcare and fostering. I have also worked independently as a trainer/consultant for the security sector and social care, predominantly in supporting and guiding individuals in how to respond to challenging behaviours achieving the best outcomes.

I enjoy the interaction that social work brings and the opportunity to help and support both adults and children. Seeing individuals move forward in a positive way is very fulfilling. Outside of work, I have an extensive family including grandchildren who bring me immense joy and if I am not spending time with them, I ride a motorcycle which always makes me smile.
