Do you have a passion for helping others and making a real difference? We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated short stay carers to join our community.
As a short stay carer, you’ll provide temporary care and support to children and young people within our agency. This could be a night or two at the weekend, or longer periods during the holidays. You will build relationships with the children and young people overtime, and provide a familiar face when they’re away from their fostering families.

This year, we returned to Worcester Countryside Park for our summer event.
The sun was shining brightly this time, in contrast to the rainy day we encountered during our last visit!
We fired up the barbecue, enjoyed numerous games, and had the chance to reconnect with our amazing community.

This year, Foundation Fostering is raising finds for SANDS – a baby loss charity who help bereaved families after a death of a baby and campaign for better care and research.
We did a ‘bake off’ as our first charity event of 2025, where we raised a whopping £635!
We had three categories – under 10, over 10 and adults – which were judged blind. The standard of baking was amazing and you didn’t make it easy for the judges to decide a winner!

What a way to start the new year! We kicked off with a fun afternoon with our fostering families at The Swan Theatre in Worcester.
Almost 100 of our Foundation Fostering community and staff were able to come together to enjoy this all-inclusive ‘quiet’ performance. Party bags provided to each family with tickets, glowsticks and treats – our team got to enjoy a bar of chocolate too!
We can not wait for next years panto already! In the meantime, we look forward to a year of days out and activities with all our families.

The annual Christmas event, which began in 1992, is being held this year from the 30th November until the 3rd December (find here) If you are planning on visiting and enjoying the festivities and are interested in becoming a foster carer, why not pop along to our office to find out more. Our Young Ambassadors group and our staff had a fabulous day of challenges, friendship and adventures together at Habberley Trail, where our children and young people took the zip wire challenge. A great day was had by all, and even better, the children had chance to share their views on the service we provide with us.
